Information for Invited and Registered Guests

VinTech Events is committed to data privacy.

Collection of information: VinTech Events collects information that is voluntarily provided by you – for example, from a completed event registration form or a general inquiry form. Such information may consist of (but is not limited to): your name, job title, company name, email address, physical address and telephone number.

Completing an event registration form is taken as your explicit consent for VinTech Events to collect the information that you provided to us in that form and pass it on to the company hosting the event you registered for (and/or any required 3rd party service providers - for example: venues/restaurants who need to know about your dietary restrictions/allergies, or wine companies who require your shipping address for delivery).

As part of the act of registering for an event, you agree that the company hosting the event may subsequently contact you - either after your registration has been received and/or after your attendance at the event - for the purposes of canvassing, marketing and other commercial purposes.

If you do not wish VinTech Events to pass your information to the host of your event, then please indicate this to us at the time of registration - by emailing us at contactus@vintechevents.com

Event cancellation, or date change / postponement: From time to time, it may be necessary to reschedule, postpone or cancel an event after guests have registered. This may be due to circumstances out of our control or the control of our Client, such as Covid restrictions or other reasons. VinTech Events will not be held liable for any inconvenience this may regrettably cause.

Use of information. Personal and company information is used only for limited and legitimate business purposes, in order for us to adequately provide our event services. We may use the information you voluntarily provided to us, to send you additional information about the event you registered for (such as confirmations, reminders etc) as well as information about any other upcoming events, offers, products, or services that we believe could be of interest to you, your organisation or your job role. You always have the right to unsubscribe from this service by sending us an email at contactus@vintechevents.com, or by going to https://vintechevents.com/unsubscribe/

Access to Information. We aim to keep any information you provide to us as accurate as possible. If you would like to review or change the details of any information we hold about you, please contact us at contactus@vintechevents.com

GDPR (and other similar international policies). GDPR requires that personal data be processed lawfully, fairly, in a transparent manner and used for specific, explicit and legitimate business purposes.

The data should be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the specified purpose, accurate and up-to-date, and processed in a secure manner. GDPR applies mainly to consumer-facing (B2C) companies, with particular emphasis on consumer marketing and these issues are not covered here. The rules for business-to-business (B2B) marketing (of which VinTech Events is one), dictate that there should be a valid business reason for communication with the recipient of any outgoing messages and there must be a quick and easy way for them to unsubscribe or ask not to be contacted again.

Miscellaneous: VinTech Events operates exclusively in the B2B space. As such, we only contact and communicate with individuals for legitimate business purposes, and whose corporate email addresses and/or telephone numbers can either be found in the public domain, and/or where those contact details have been previously collected by our Clients in a compliant manner before being provided to us for the sole business purpose of hosting events on their behalf. All information supplied by the Client to VinTech Events including the names and contact details of any people, prospects, clients or companies is confidential and for VinTech Events use only.

At any time, and at no cost to you, you may request that VinTech Events delete any and all of your data or personal information, and refrain from sending you any further invitations / communications in the future. To do this please send us an email at contactus@vintechevents.com
